The thread ring must be manually screwed onto the entire length of the thread on the work piece without excessive force. If this is not possible, the thread does not meet the desired standards (rejected). The reference temperature for the work pieces and gauges is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price on inquiry). The calibration is performed in an independent laboratory following the specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC thread scanners.
- Manual Threading Test: The Gewindelehrring should screw onto the entire length of the workpiece's thread by hand, without excessive force
- Thread Quality Check: If the Gewindelehrring cannot be screwed on, the thread does not meet the desired standards (rejected)
- Reference Temperature: The workpiece and measuring tools should be at a temperature of 20°C
- Calibration Services: VÖLKEL offers on-request workshop calibration certificates. Independent lab calibration follows set standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) using IAC-Gewindescanner
