The Oxford College block is a particularly high-quality block with exceptional paper in premium quality. The so-called optical paper has a high white and silky-smooth surface that makes writing easier and provides for an optimal typeface with sharp-edged contours (no feathering). The paper is deliberately slightly thicker and stronger (90 g/square metre) so that both sides of the paper can be written on without ink, pens or felt tip seeping through to the back as with standard paper (70 to 80 g/square metre) . The pages of the college block are oversize and have a micro-perforation for clean and simple tearing out of the DIN A4 sheet with 4-hole punching for subsequent filing in folders, ring binders, folders and loose-leaf binders. The durable, strong cover ensures that the college block looks like new even after prolonged use, because the corners do not bend so quickly and soiling on the cover can be wiped off with a damp cloth due to the special lamination. The special feature of the left-handed college block is that the spiral does not interfere with writing, as is the case with a standard college block.
